Proficient on guitar and ukelele as well as acoustic and electric bass, he offers private lessons to adults and children. He also teaches music notation to graduate students at Academy of Art University.

Daniel holds a degree in music education from San Francisco State University and has studied the Orff method.  He is also active in outdoor education, as an instructor in rock climbing and sea kayaking.

Daniel recently released an album of children's music called Teacher Barb's Train To Sleepytown.  He and Barb are available to play songs and lead games birthday parties for kids of all ages.
