In addition to performing, I love my daytime teaching and even after twenty years of doing it I’m still finding new inspiration from my students. Recently I’ve taught in preschools with Music In Schools Today, in elementary schools with SF Symphony’s Adventures In Music, Music For Children at Community Music Center, and private guitar, ukulele and bass students of all ages at home and online. Most recently, I’ve had a blast creating content for my youngest Musical Storytime students.

I know Daniel very well, and think he is a terrific person, musician, educator and mentor, who has repeatedly gone way above and beyond the call of duty. We were very impressed with his ability to inspire our son to transition from electric bass to upright, with the way he conducted his lessons, and with the results. Daniel was quite helpful to our son in inspiring and guiding him through the process of putting a video together to showcase his bass playing, which he sent to schools as part of the high school application process this fall. - Chris K.
